We are very proud to announce that Red Clay President and CEO Lance Compton has been selected as part of the inaugural class of the University of Georgia Alumni Association's 40 under 40 award. UGA launched the new program to honor 40 alumni under 40 years of age that have made an impact in business, leadership, community, educational and/or philanthropic endeavors that also demonstrate dedication to the University of Georgia and its mission of teaching, research and service.
UGA alumnus and Red Clay team member Laura Fowler nominated Lance, who joined a pool of hundreds of UGA graduates from around the world that were nominated. According to the University website, the recipients "represent the very best of UGA graduates." Honorees will be recognized at an awards banquet in September as well as at a home football game.
When notified of this honor Lance immediately thanked the team of friends and family who have been a part of making Red Clay great; "I wouldn't be recognized for any of this type stuff if God hadn't placed my family, friends, and my Red Clay peeps in my life." Lance also mentioned it was particular sweet since he turns 40 this October and only couldn't be nominated again!
Join us in congratulating Lance and GOOOO DAWGS Sick'em!
