Jonathan Clements, interactive marketing executive

"Try not. Do or do not. There is no try."

A former practicing attorney, Jonathan Clements is Cum Laude graduate of the University of Georgia with a BA in Journalism, Advertising. While a senior at UGA, Jonathan received First Place in the 1999 Wall Street Journal Advertising Campaign Competition. After graduation, Jonathan worked for a small web design firm in Athens until 2000 when the "Dot Com Bubble" burst. Taking the advice of a close friend, he sought his second career choice, Law.

As a recipient of the Atlanta Law School Foundation Scholarship, Jonathan attended Georgia State University and focused his studies on intellectual property and computer law. He graduated with his JD from Georgia State in 2003 and began his law career. In 2006, Jonathan was given the opportunity to work for the federal government as a Senior Staff Attorney for a Chapter 13 Trustee. With that experience, he began his own law firm in 2008.

His move back into the field of advertising was out of love: "I never decided that I didn't enjoy law, just that I enjoy advertising and marketing more. I enjoy being creative and I get to do that at Red Clay." Jonathan is married to his wife, Nicole, and has two children.
