NuRol

NuRol provides point of sale retail management hardware, software, supplies, and services. Red Clay designed their e-commerce website a few years back, but has recently helped them update their site.

In addition, our continued efforts in search engine optimization have helped them establish themselves as an online leader in their industry. In 2008 alone, the number of top Google rankings for targeted keywords rose dramatically.




Our second phase of work for NuRol began with designing a package structure to their product categories. This new organization helps users on the site understand the different industries NuRol serves. Next, we created a flash header for the homepage to help highlight the different packages available. This also makes for a compelling call to action. Also, we retooled their e-commerce capabilities, helping to streamline the shopping process.

Our initial work with NuRol established a web design that could effectively showcase their large inventory of products, in addition to a shopping cart that could handle the various sales options. Red Clay designed a custom shopping application that allows users to customize their own point of sale system - starting with the base package and adding or removing options. A massive database was then incorporated with the shopping cart to house the thousands of products.

The initial site, along with Red Clay's recent website redesign, helps position NuRol as an online leader in point of sale systems.
