The Travel Channel

Red Clay recently had the opportunity to partner with The Travel Channel on one of their most popular shows, 'Most Haunted Live." This year's edition was live from the site of the bloodiest battle in the Civil War, Gettysburg, Pa.

The challenge was to enable the show to extend beyond the broadcast and interact with the dedicated fan base. The decision was made to create webcams that would broadcast live from the various haunted hotspots, providing a continuous opportunity for viewers to spot ghosts or goblins.

With the 'Most Haunted Live" team on the ground in Gettysburg, the at-home audience could tune into the show while monitoring the webcams for paranormal activity. If they spotted something, they could text the on-site team who could then investigate further.

Providing this level of interaction was an exciting chance for Red Clay to demonstrate how technology can help bridge the gap between different forms of media. Industry experts roundly predict the future of entertainment lies in audience participation, and Red Clay is proud to be a part of the next big thing.
