Red Clay Launches the New World Language Academy Website
In 2011, Red Clay Interactive was given the opportunity with the Hall County School System to complete a thorough needs analysis, interviewing teachers and administrators at school's throughout the county to determine how to best tell the brand story of the Hall County School System. What we found is that not only does the School System have some of the greatest staff on the planet, but that they are driving education into the 21st century.
So, as a test to see not only how we would tell that story, we developed the feature-rich World Language Academy. This site provides not only faculty and administrators tools, but also parents the capability of managing this site, providing up to date information, and...just so happens to be one of the coolest school sites on the planet.
The World Language Academy (WLA) is currently a Pre-K through 4 dual immersion school where students receive a portion of their instruction in English and in Spanish. Grades 5-6 receive instruction in Spanish within a foreign language model. With a rich curriculum that emphasizes the study of language and culture, students develop understanding and respect.
The new site utilizes fun, bright colors and imagery to engage and excite users. The site also focuses heavily on directing site users to what most parents want to know about WLA, how to join! In addition, we have added a full-featured ecommerce solution for the PTO, and utilizes language tools, so that users can view the site in Spanish or English (and the ability for WLA staff to add more languages as they see fit!). Make sure to check it out and all of the fantastic things going on in this great school system.
