A few weeks ago, we began a search for a new Interactive Marketing Executive. Our search brought in candidates from four different states and two different star systems. Needless to say, it was quite intensive.
But through this search, we had the opportunity to interview a Mr. Jonathan D. Clements. Jonathan is charismatic, creative, entrepreneurial and just an all around good guy.
Jonathan's career began after graduating from UGA in 1999 working for a small web design firm in Athens. Jonathan left the firm in 2000 after the Dot Com Bubble burst and decided to return to school to try his second love...lawyering.
While at Georgia State University's College of Law, Jonathan focused on what he believed to be the future of advertising law: Intellectual Property and e-Commerce Law. After obtaining his Juris Doctor, Jonathan went to work at a law firm just outside of Atlanta and later spent time working for the Department of Justice as the senior staff attorney for a Chapter 13 Trustee in Atlanta. In 2008, Jonathan decided it was time to be an entrepreneur, and began his own firm, which he has ran for the past few years.
But, fortunately for us, nothing is like your first love. To quote Jonathan, "It's not that I'm looking at getting away from law, but more of, I'm just looking to get back into advertising." We're uber-excited about this addition to the team and look forward to the magic that he's going to come up with for our clients (just to clarify, that's not lawyering magic, but marketing magic). Jonathan will be joining us in a few weeks, so please make him feel welcome.
