Red Clay recently sent Nate Currin, Senior Designer, to the "Battle for your Heart" creative conference at the "W" Hotel in Atlanta. The event was sponsored by Creativity Atlanta, which Nate is a member, and featured keynote speakers Markham Cronin, Thinker and CCO of BrightHouse, and Joseph Jaffe, President and Founder of jaffe, LLC.
The conference addressed topics such as "not losing your love and passion for creativity", "the importance of usability (for the web)", and "not underestimating your audience as an advertiser." Also making presentations and pitches for new products at the conference were companies such as Click DoubleClick, ESPN.com, MSN, and Unicast.
Nate said he came away with a renewed passion for creativity, inspiration from seeing some of the newer ads about to hit the market, and a resolve to never underestimate the expectations of his audience as a designer. We look forward to seeing him put his new knowledge to work for our clients.
