From time to time, our web development staff will complete business-to-business or internal corporate projects that you'll never actually see on the Web. In cases like this, we still like to share information about each project with you. We recently implemented a new business-to-business ecommerce system for StitchTech, Inc., a national leader in the custom embroidery industry.
The Red Clay website development staff designed and deployed shopping carts for several of StitchTech's corporate clients and is in the process of adding more. In addition to the web-based shopping cart system, we're now in the process of launching an internal order management and inventory control system for StitchTech. When completed, all the web orders will integrate into the internal system that will handle all fulfillment, accounting, and customer management.
This is just another example of how Internet technology can be used for business applications other than marketing. By automating the order process, StitchTech will save countless hours in staff time, resulting in higher profits.
