GAINESVILLE, Ga. - Red Clay Interactive (RCI), a Gainesville, Ga.-based web development and marketing firm, recently announced the addition of David O. Cooper to its full-time staff. Cooper joins RCI as a web developer and will work closely with the creative and programming departments of the company.
"As our client base and work load continued to grow at a rapid pace, we needed a talented designer that could also assist with project management and database development," said Red Clay Interactive president Lance Compton. "David's diverse background in computer graphics and animation and technical programming made him the perfect fit for our staff. We look forward to the immediate impact David will make in our company."
Cooper's responsibilities with Red Clay range from new site design and development to working with existing clients on maintenance and marketing. Other duties include assisting the director of technology with database development, managing new client projects from start to finish, and directing part-time staff. Before joining RCI, Cooper was a Web designer and developer with Mediatools, Inc.
"Web-based marketing and client management continue to be two of the fastest growing segments of our economy," said Cooper. "Red Clay Interactive is quickly becoming a leader in both these areas in North Georgia and I look forward to using my skills and past experience in continuing this success."
Cooper graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in computer animation from the Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota, Fla. He is married with one son and currently resides in Gainesville, Ga.
Red Clay Interactive, founded in 2000, is a marketing and development agency specializing in database-driven Internet applications, custom web site creation, search engine placement, and interactive marketing. The RCI development team has extensive experience in creating backend applications, e-commerce solutions, and high impact, graphically designed web sites.
