2003 continues to be a busy year for the Red Clay team. If the number of new business calls and requests for proposals we've received is any indication of where the economy is heading, a recovery is well under way. We recently welcomed a number of new Web development and Search Engine marketing clients to the RCI family that support this statement. Two of these are Transparent Technologies and Daniel's Charters.
Transparent Technologies is an IT outsourcing company located in Lawrenceville that specializes in staffing, consulting, and systems integration for Atlanta businesses. We'll be redesigning their current site, restructuring some of the content, and optimizing the site for search engines.
Daniel's Charters, a Gainesville-based charter bus company, has asked Red Clay to help them market themselves on the Internet. In addition to developing a great looking site that reflects their commitment to safety and an enjoyable travel experience, we'll also complete a search engine optimization campaign to increase their number of bookings.
Another indication the economy is recovering is the fact that the donation-dependent non-profit sector is again spending money. We recently started two new projects for a long-time client that depends solely on monetary contributions, the
United Way of Hall County.
We'll be redesigning the United Way site to focus the content for specific audiences and allow them to accept online contributions via credit cards. We developed the original site more than two years ago for general information purposes.
We are also in the process of developing a Web site for the
Hall County 211 office. 211 is a division of the United Way committed to assisting citizens in need. Currently, anyone in the Hall County area can dial 211 from a phone to be directed to an agency that can help them with their particular need. Upon site launch, this service will also be available through the Internet.
