Getting involved in our local business community is something we set out to do from day one. And Lance has been so involved with the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce that we often think he should be on their paid staff.
That's why we weren't too shocked when he was recently chosen as a recipient of the 2002 Silver Shovel Award. The Silver Shovel was established to recognize GHCC members that have gone beyond the call of duty to volunteer on the Chamber's behalf.
Lance was recognized for his participation on the Hall County Technology Steering Committee and for spearheading the effort in organizing and founding the Lake Lanier Technology Alliance.
