To XML or not to XML, that is the question.

For those of you that keep up with the technology industry, you're probably familiar with Extensible Markup Language (XML). For the rest of you, this may not interest you much. :) Just take heart in knowing that the Red Clay guys are staying on top of the industry.

Greg, our Code Head, recently spent a day at New Horizons Training Center in Atlanta taking a class on XML. He assures us that he's on top of this new language and is doing further research and experimenting to see how it best fits in our development projects. Greg's initial thoughts are as follows:

"XML is the 'new kid on the block' for the Internet. XML's strengths will be moving data from one system to the other without the need for buggy imports and exports, as well as helping to structure data in a more useful and logical manner. This means the 'one-click' uploads some of our clients enjoy will be made more powerful thru XML. It also will mean increased performance from your web site."

If you're technically savvy enough to want more info, give Greg a call or drop him an email. He loves talking to people that actually understand him (unlike the rest of the Red Clay staff)!
