Lance ComptonLance Compton

Lance is the President, CEO, Founder, and driving force behind Red Clay Interactive.

He started Red Clay with an idea and the entrepreneurial experience from establishing with Scott Atkinson and Greg Cruce.

Lance began his communications career as a PR and Government Affairs Specialist for the late Senator Paul Coverdell, later becoming a Legislative Advisor and Press Secretary to Representative (now Governor) Nathan Deal.

Lance left D.C. with Georgia on his mind and became Communications Director for the Georgia Forestry Association – leading communications for the 5,000 people (and millions of trees) represented by the association.

He now oversees another growing Georgia fixture: Red Clay Interactive.

Lance has been named one of the 40 under 40 Best and Brightest by Georgia Trend magazine.  His alma mater, UGA, recognized Lance and Red Clay as one of the Bulldog 100 – the fastest growing businesses of UGA alumni.  None of this success has been at the cost of doing things the right way, a belief Lance (and all of Red Clay) holds firmly.  In fact, Lance and Red Clay were honored with the Better Business Bureau Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics.

Even our ethics are award-winning.

Lance continues to lead Red Clay to success and hopes that never involves clowns, whom he considers to be high-octane nightmare-fuel.

Lance lives in Flowery Branch with his wife Stephanie, his daughter Reagan, and son Griffin.
