Sylvia was once the assistant to the U.S. Ambassador to Panama. In fact, she watched first hand as the U.S. invaded and deposed Manual Noriega. So if Sylvia seems unfazed when simultaneously coordinating three meetings, conducting market research, managing our office and welcoming guests, well, it’s no wonder. Once you’ve survived live ammo and the revolution of a dictator, this industry is a cakewalk.
When Sylvia isn’t making sure Red Clay is a well-oiled machine, you’ll more than likely find her baking in her kitchen. Spend a little time in our office and you’ll appreciate just how important her hobby is to the Red Clay culture. Just don’t bother asking for her rum cake recipe. Not even General Noriega could get that out of her.
