I haven’t been very happy with the iOS6 upgrade since they took away my native Google Maps and YouTube apps, but last night I made a discovery that changed my mind: You can now create a signature for each of your multiple email accounts!

Before iOS6 you only had the option to add one email signature which would appear on any email you created, regardless which account you were sending from.  There are several apps available that claim to solve this problem, but all they actually do is let you copy and paste signatures into your emails.

Now this functionality is native to your device.  In your Settings, go to Mail and then Signature.

You’ll see a new option called “Per Account”.  Select this and you will then see a signature box for each of your email accounts.

This was such a simple addition it’s a mystery to me why it took Apple so long to add the obvious!
